Source CV: The full inventory of defensible experience and skills used to create role-specific CVs. Avoid: Base CV, generic CV

Role-specific CV: A job-application document that selects relevant material from the Source CV for one role. Avoid: Employee-focused CV

Private CV material: Professional history kept for future role-specific CVs but excluded from the published site. Avoid: Unpublished section, hidden CV

Event: A scheduled professional gathering that Taras attended. Certifications and self-paced courses aren’t Events. Avoid: Talk when referring to the gathering

Event format: The form of an Event, such as a conference, meetup, training, workshop, or hackathon. Avoid: Participation role, Contribution

Attendance mode: How Taras joined an Event: in person, online, or hybrid. Avoid: Location

Event location: The city associated with an Event, independent of how Taras attended. An online Event may have an Event location. Avoid: Attendance mode

Participation role: The capacity in which Taras took part in an Event. An Event can have more than one Participation role. Avoid: Event type

Contribution: A named talk, workshop, or other program item that Taras delivered at an Event. An Event can contain multiple Contributions. Avoid: Event when referring to one program item

Teaching activity: An educational contribution led by Taras. A Teaching activity may also be an Event. Avoid: Course attended by Taras

Credential: A qualification or certificate earned by Taras. A scheduled course leading to a Credential may be an Event, but the Credential itself isn’t. Avoid: Event, course
