EDU Streams
Mentorship, Bootcamp 2023, Kharkiv IT Cluster, 2023
Mentored Project
Kharkiv IT Cluster hosts many educational events, and a significant number of them are streamed on our YouTube channel (yes, you can subscribe and find a lot of interesting and useful content about the IT industry there). We aim to make our events more interactive and unique, experimenting not only with formats but sometimes with platforms. Once, we even had an interview with Teens2IT on the Party Space platform!
Teambuilding
So why not develop widgets for streams specifically adapted for the educational process? That’s exactly what happened. Gathering a team of over 70 participants and finding two product managers in the faces of Anastasia, the coordinator of educational projects at Kharkiv IT Cluster, and Mykhailo, Head of Kharkiv branch GoIT, Program Director GoITeens, Taras organized the work of his large team.
With a bit of skill and imagination, we now have not just one team developing one widget, but eight teams preparing 8 different widgets that are most needed according to the requests of our product managers (customers). Large teams and small teams always require different management and work-building formats.
In a large family, it’s a bit difficult to figure out how to work and where to find your own, so we also invited a separate specialist for consultation on building the work of such a large team. Yes, Taras’s team members are getting a very unusual experience, as they have to quickly make decisions, create teams, and learn to work together!
